KWS KWS Sorting System

The KWS Sorting System offers a comprehensive setup for efficient material sorting. It features a 60-inch wide pit infeed conveyor with a metering wheel, with an 8-foot usable pit, 34-foot incline, and a 19-foot dump height, ensuring smooth entry of materials. The sorting process is enhanced by a 60-inch wide elevated sorting conveyor, stretching 34 feet in length, fitted with platforms and stairs on both sides for accessibility. Additionally, it includes a paper screen and a secondary sort line equipped with a 36-inch wide, 25-foot long elevated conveyor, supplemented by a platform for operator convenience. The system is rounded out with a 48-inch wide steel belt incline conveyor, featuring a 7-foot horizontal section and a 32-foot incline specifically utilized post-paper screening. For sorting metals, the system contains a second sort line that includes a 36-inch wide, 45-foot long trough conveyor with an overhead magnet for ferrous material collection. This component, along with supportive platforms, enhances the sorting capabilities of the entire line, ensuring operational efficiency in diverse sorting tasks.
